Carl has been working with trees since 1984. He started as a lone tree pruner and went on to successfully run one of the most respected and successful tree companies (Mellinger Tree Service) in the Los Angeles area for over 30 years. In 2018, Carl sold his pruning business to focus on consulting full-time. He has a wide breadth of experience ranging from tree installation to expert witness work.

Jonathan is a certified arborist with a tree risk assessor qualification. He has been working as an arborist for five years. He has a BS in Ecology with a minor in Forestry from UC Berkeley.
